ABOUT US

Unparalleled care and expertise.

Apex Human Performance is not just a health club. It’s a club for health that works like The Cloud — delivering education and expertise you can trust, total body care, and a frictionless concierge experience, wherever you are, whenever you need it.

For nearly fifteen years, and over several iterations, former Today Show correspondent, Inc. 5000 winner, and internationally-recognized healthy living authority Jeff Halevy shaped Apex Human Performance into a sought-out resource for carefully integrated health testing, personal training, physical therapy, and nutrition by a Who’s Who list spanning multiple industries and professions, including Hugh Jackman, Frank McCourt, Milos Raonic, Joseph Edelman, John Oliver, John Legere, Ben Foster, Michael Sheen, and Ryan Seacrest, among many notable others.

Why apex human performance?

1. EDUCATION & EXPERTISE YOU CAN TRUST

Personal training certifications provide the illusion of competence, education, and experience — which are all important when choosing the right person to entrust with your health and fitness. Unfortunately, most consumers don’t even know to ask about their personal trainer’s educational background.

At Apex Human Performance, every single member of our team — our personal trainers, nutritionists, and physical therapists — possesses a Master’s Degree or Doctorate in their field.

2. TOTAL BODY CARE

Bringing all of the pieces together to manage your health and fitness isn’t easy. From exercising correctly; to treating and preventing aches, pains, and injuries; to ensuring what you eat not only helps you live longer, but better as well, is a daunting task.

Firstly, because each of these areas is a specific discipline: Personal Training, Physical Therapy & Nutrition.

Secondly, because these services have a high bio-individuality quotient, which requires proper testing and benchmarking, so that the solutions are customized for each individual.

And thirdly, because these services are usually provided in an unorchestrated fashion from individual sole practitioners who do not communicate with each other or coordinate plans for their clients.

At Apex Human Performance, we make fitness, body care, and nutrition easy by providing a comprehensive, all-inclusive game plan for your body, based on clinical-grade testing, and administered by a team of verifiable experts you can trust.

3. A frictionless concierge experience

Most health and fitness services not only keep clients beholden to a sole practitioner and his or her schedule, but do not offer any level of care outside of scheduling appointments.

At Apex Human Performance, we provide a high level of flexibility and ease of scheduling with our team of experts — and unparalleled 24/7 concierge care, from coordinating related health services in NYC and beyond, procuring priority access to the City’s top physicians, to designing and outfitting our members’ home gyms.

Kyle is a Doctor of Physical Therapy licensed in New York State, New Jersey, Florida and Connecticut. With a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Biology from Suny Albany ’10, Kyle parlayed his interest in the human body into a DPT from Sage Graduate School, which he finished in 2013.

As an apprentice and associate of Dr. Charlie Weingroff, Kyle drives to keep his clients training while guiding them and their coaches with the appropriate lateralizations and regressions, and treating as needed.

Treatments consist of a full body assessment and evaluation, from which impairments are determined and individual plans are built that consist of manual therapies, exercise considerations, and a solid foundation of education and communication.

Kyle is formally trained in SFMA/FMS, manipulation, dry needling, functional range release, and many other approaches, all with the goal of improving each patient’s individual complaints and quality of movement.

Kyle resides in Hell’s Kitchen with his wife Krystal, and dogs (Audrey) Hepburn and Stevie (Nicks). When he’s not training or treating, Kyle is at a Rangers’ game, traveling, at a concert, or playing guitar.
